Ragi idli



Fixings 

  • Ragi flour - 2 glasses 


  • Idli rice - 1 glass 


  • Urad dal - 1/2 glass 


  • Methi seeds - 2 tsp 


  • Salt and water - as required 


Strategy 

  • Wash and splash the rice,dal and methi seeds together for two hours.Add the required water and crush all that all together including required salt and water.Lastly include the ragi flour ,grind for few minutes.Remove and age overnight or 10 hours. 


  • The following day,batter would be multiplied and in some cases overflown too.Stir well and make idlies. 


  • Steam in idli mold for 10-12 minutes till the embedded spoon tells the truth. 


  • U can make dosas by weakening the hitter slightly.Make firm or delicate dosas according to ur need.
